Travel Tip: Down the Road
Travel Tip: Down The Road

This travel tip is for people from Florida. It could also be for anyone who lives n a city with blocks. I noticed when I was traveling through Georgia that we have different definitions for the term "just down the road."

To me, this means somewhere between 1-3 blocks. I definitely think it is close. In Georgia, it means you make no turns except for the many curves in the long road. It also can be up to 10 miles.

I thought that my definition was the correct one until I traveled further north and heard this description over and over.

I realized that I think in city blocks. If you don't live in the city, your life does not revolve around blocks.

Down the road, really does mean down the road.
