Sunday – A Day of Rest

Ex 20:8-10
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work. NASU

Lent is 40 days long minus Sundays so Pocket Full of Easter is taking Sunday as a day of rest. Pocket Full of Easter’s suggestions for Sunday are:

• Begin your day on your knees, preparing your heart for worship.
• Go to a Bible Study and Worship Service in the church of your choice.
• Affirm your minister, priest, and/or Bible teacher.
• Spend quality time with your family.
• Tell someone you love them.
• Walk through your day in a spirit of prayer.
• Pay attention to the beautiful signs of spring.
• Rest!
